There are various visa categories available in the Australian Migration framework such that an applicant is practically bound to find a visa option that best addresses his/her present situation. Employer Sponsored Work Visas

There are a number of visa options available under the Employer Sponsored Work Visa category. This category enables skilled applicants (who have qualifications and experience recognized in Australia) to be employed in Australia on a temporary or permanent basis. Applicants for these visas must be sponsored by an Australian employer.

 

 
Family Visas

There is a raft of visa options available under Family Migration. These options are split on the basis of Partner, Parent, Child or other family migration and are available to fiance(e)s, partners, children, parents and other family members of Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens.

The class of visa applicable will depend on whether an applicant is in Australia or offshore at the time of application.

There is a cap on the number of Family-based migration visas issued by the Australian Government each year, hence it is imperative to select the best visa option.

 

Business Visas

There are 3 sets of Visa options available under this category. These include visas which enable Business people visit Australia on a short stay visa for any business purpose.Another set of visa options are provisional visas which enable people business people to establish a business in Australia, manage a new or existing business or invest in Australia.  The last set of options are permanent visas for people who have established the required level of business in Australia while holding a provisional visa. A direct permanent residence visa is also available for high-calibre business people.

 

 

General Skilled Migration Visas

There are a number of skilled migration visas available for skilled and experienced professionals who want to live and work in Australia The General Skilled Migration Visa category is for applicants who have skills in particular occupations in demand in Australia. A basic feature of this category is that the applicant need not be sponsored by an Australian Employer. Applicants must be over 18 and under 45 years of age, with good English language ability, and recent skilled work experience or a recently completed eligible Australian qualification.

The best visa option under this category will depend on a number of factors, including applicant’s ability to meet the points test and eligibility criteria set by DIAC. The location from where the Application is made you are applying for your visa will also determine which visa option is appropriate.

 

 

 Student Visas

There are a number of visa options available to applicants who intend to study in Australia. The appropriate option will depend on the nature of study.

A visa may be granted where the applicant wishes to undertake a registered course on a full-time basis. A registered course is an education or training course offered by an Australian education provider who is registered with the Australian Government to offer courses to overseas students.

Applicants may undertake any course of study for less than three months on a visitor visa or working holiday visa. However, where the intent is to study for more than three months, a student visa is mandatory.Applicants wanting to study in Australia can apply for a student visa after they have received a letter of offer or electronic confirmation of enrollment (eCoE) in relation to one or more full-time courses of study

Depending on your country of nationality and your principal course of study you may have to undergo a preliminary assessment before an Electronic Confirmation of Enrollment (eCoE) is issued by your Australian education provider.
